Stunning and Stylish Features

The Opportunity

After a plumbing crisis in their new house caused by frozen water pipes, our clients ended up needing to repair water damage in addition to the kitchen and master bathroom they originally wanted to update.

The Outcome

Unique features of this project include an island with waterfall ends and a custom-designed hood in the kitchen. We moved the powder room to allow for a bigger kitchen but didn’t want to lose the under-stair storage. To remedy this, we created a hidden door in the powder room, concealed by wallpaper and wainscoting trim, to access the storage area. In the master bathroom, the multiple shower heads were installed extra high to accommodate our tall client. A coffered ceiling with a simple, modern trim was added in the living room, as well as built-ins to hide away TV components. Sections of the floor were replaced so the species of wood would match and the stain would blend well between the old and new floors.
