The Opportunity
Our clients wanted a contemporary kitchen with more storage and counter space. They also wanted to highlight the view into their backyard.
The Outcome
We moved the interior doorway that led into the kitchen so that the large window became the new focal point and was the first thing you saw when you walked in. We also replaced the back door with a full light door. We installed a flush mount hood to avoid blocking the view. Other design features include false drawer panels around the island, a dedicated mixer cabinet, and a knee wall in the dining room with frosted glass cap and LED back lights.
