Our clients purchased this condo to down-size from their house (which we built an addition for in 1999). We met them before they closed. Timing was important, as they were going to delay moving in until the work was complete. They wanted to update the kitchen that was very outdated and worn, to a more modern style. They also wanted to improve the lighting and storage, and to change the design for better function.
The kitchen floor is actually sheet vinyl, which turned out great! We had a lot of floor leveling that needed to be done, but our client got the look of en-caustic tile without the maintenance. During construction they decided to replace their washer/dryer that was located in the kitchen, and to make it vent-less. We had custom doors built to make them blend in.
