The Opportunity
The homeowners wanted to update their kitchen so it was up to par with the new construction in their area, as well as improve the layout so it would better suit their day-to-day use.
The Outcome
Throughout the design process, we dove into the homeowner’s Scandinavian roots for inspiration. We took an overall less-is-more approach with minimalist frameless cabinetry, as is common in modern Swedish design. The neutral color palette allows the Cambria Annica quarts, used for both the countertops and the full-height backsplash, to truly stand out. The biggest “wow” factor in the space is the galley sink workstation with two kitchen faucets. This layout allows for multiple cooks at a time without crowding and is great for entertaining.
