Spotlight on: Samantha Klickna

At Case we really pride ourselves on being leaders in the remodeling industry, but it takes amazing people to make that happen. When you work with Case, one of your primary contacts will be your Project Developer. We thought you might be interested in getting to know them a little bit better. This week we’re highlighting Director of Project Development Samantha Klickna.

Let’s get started…

How long have you been at Case? Have you held any other positions in the company?

Almost 9 years! I started as a designer in 2011 and transitioned to Director of Project Development 2 years later.

What’s your design style?

I don’t have a specific style. I think after being exposed to so many different clients, projects and materials I have a true appreciation for it all! I’m mostly drawn to warm color palettes, transitional styles and classic finishes, but I love a fun funky trend!

If you were remodeling your home, what project would you do?

I would either add a wine cellar or a dog washing room. I love wine and love to see it displayed. I think it makes a space feel inviting and adds an element of comfort and warmth. I’ve always wanted a “dog room” where I could use a fun trendy floor tile with a classic subway tile in the dog shower.

Where do you think it’s smartest to splurge and save?

It really depends on the space and the amount of time you spend there.  Every space has finishes that act as a background and one or two things that grab your attention.  Splurging on material that stands out or provides functionality is most important to me.  In general, I believe the kitchen is the most important room in the house to splurge in.

What’s your favorite thing about working with Case?

People.  I really enjoy working with people who bring their ideas to us and allow us to create a unique project.  Their project goals paired with our expertise creates amazing outcomes!

Is there anything a client can do to make your job easier?

Tell me what you like and don’t like. Both are equally as important for me to know!

What if I don’t know my design style?

That’s okay, most people don’t.  You may not fall into a category of one specific style.  Once I learn what you like we can design a space that reflects you!
