Designer - Interior Specialist

"I love being able to make a client fall in love with their home all over again."

Client Testimonial

"Another standout from the experience working with CASE was the personal touch from their design leader, Alex. Working with her can only be described as fun. You feel as if you've walked onto the set of an HGTV show as the lucky participants. The team makes you feel that valued. While they led with complete professionalism and expertise, they were also quick to allow participation in the process. You aren't simply receiving something stock from their plans or distribution partners (although they had some great ones to recommend - appliances especially); they sought and incorporated our input such as allowing us to customize our range hood and a feature accent to our backsplash."

Experience

I started working at Case directly after receiving my degree in design from Virginia Tech in 2016. Constantly drawing and redrawing interior house plans since I was young, I love being a part of giving life to a truly unique space through design, and watching the Homeowner’s eyes gleam with excitement seeing the finished product at the end of the project. I thrive off the organized chaos of the remodeling process, the timeline driven environment, and meeting new people every day with a different story to tell.

One of my favorite parts about working at Case is that the company has a heart for community service that matches my own. I have been able to volunteer for Homestretch, helping remodel kitchens for local less fortunate residents in Northern Virginia and am on my company’s Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build team that raises money and works in the field building new homes all while empowering women. In 2017 I was fortunate to be on Case’s DC Design House Team that remodeled a space in a show house to benefit Children’s National Hospital, and in 2017 and 2019 volunteered with Light Up the Season, a DC based organization that pairs designers with patients in the hospital to design and bring to life their dream Christmas trees. There is nothing more special than being able to give back to my community using my passion for design.

Outside of work, I am a trained dancer in all styles and am still active with my hometown dance studio. I also am an avid bookworm, turtle parent, and outdoor enthusiast- my favorite days are spent tubing down the Shenandoah River followed by a glass of wine from a local winery!
