How We Started
Fred Case founded Case Construction Company in 1961. Fred’s passion for craftsmanship and business was evident throughout his career, from hands-on work in his childhood to leading a business that emphasized quality and innovation. He revolutionized the remodeling industry with his visionary approach, including pioneering the “design/build” method. Case was a founding figure in the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and played a key role in professionalizing the remodeling field, including developing the “Certified Remodeler” designation. His contributions extended beyond business to creating the Fred Case Remodeling Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which celebrates leaders who advance the industry through innovation. Fred’s influence lives on through the countless lives he touched, the company he built, and the standards of excellence he instilled in all of us.
